Ever since COVID, delays have been the name of the game-ing industry. Honestly, it's been annoying as hell, and one delay that weighs heavy on me was Midnight Suns. I was (am) looking forward to this game, but it's just one of many that was hit with the delay hammer.
Of course, the biggest release of the biggest release of the year is - easily - God of War Ragnarok. As it seems that, the bigger the game, the higher the chance of a delay, fans have been antsy for a while now. We're basically in May already, and God of War Ragnarok doesn't seem close to release.
Of course, fans made those worries known on Twitter, after we got news on God of War's four year anniversary that there is nothing to be shown or shared about the game at this point.
God of War Ragnarok Devs Confirm 2022 Release Date
Lucky for us, one of the God of War Ragnarok devs was kind enough to ease our minds a little bit, by tweeting the following:
Ragnorok is coming this year.

Can you feel that collective sigh of relief? I mean, God of War Ragnarok was already due in 2021 - if you can remember - so this is big news. Of couse, it was later revealed, that that delay was actually due to the Kratos actor suffering from serious health issues, so we're not going to complain about that.
So, there you have it: God of War Ragnarok is still coming in 2022, and when it is released, it will come to the PS5 and the PS4. If you haven't played God of War yet... do yourself a favor, or just quit calling yourself a gamer altogether.
