Developers Guerrilla Games, responsible for the Horizon series, have confirmed that Horizon 3 is happening. We can expect a continuation of Aloy's adventures with a multiplayer spin-off.
If you are a loyal fan of Guerrilla's work, you will be pleased to hear this news. The developers responsible for the wonderful Horizon series have officially confirmed that Horizon 3 is on the way, completing Aloy's trilogy of games.
Horizon 3 – Guerrilla Confirms Trilogy
Guerrilla Games has revealed, in an official announcement on its website, changes in leadership positions and related plans. Angie Smets, who has previously served as Studio Director and Executive Producer, is moving to PlayStation Studios, where she will assume the position of Head of Development Strategy.

We have full confidence in our new leadership as they steer Guerrilla towards a bright future, expanding the world of Horizon with Aloy's next adventure and our exciting online project.
All this means that Horizon 3 has actually been officially confirmed. Of course, there is too little information so far to talk about a release date or gameplay details.

Meanwhile, the mention of an "exciting online project" has furthe cemented the existence of the Horizon multiplayer game, but unfortunately we didn't get any new intel on this either.
