Blizzard leaked PvE maps for Overwatch 2

The PvE mode for Overwatch 2 was originally announced by Blizzard as a big new feature for the sequel to their popular hero shooter. But ahead of the release, Blizzard announced that the mode actually won't come out until 2023. Now though, they have accidentally leaked some unfinished maps, which you can already explore right now! Here is everything that was leaked.

Overwatch 2 PvE Maps Leaked

Twitter user @Squigg1e has discovered a whole map in the Overwatch 2 custom game mode, which we were definitely not supposed to see yet. Originally, Overwatch 2 was announced to have a PvE Mode, which is THE thing every Overwatch fan was most excited about. But then, they released the game and postponed the PvE mode to come in 2023. This was a real downer for OW fans, because apart from the new heroes and the Battle Pass system, Overwatch 2 doesn't really differ from its predecessor.

But now, it seems like Blizzard accidentally published unfinished maps for the PvE Mode in Overwatch 2. Squiggle has tweeted a video, on how he discovered a PvE version for Kings Row in the custom game mode.

In the video, we see an unknown area of the King's Row map, which is located left to the attackers spawn. It seems to be some sort of base or maybe an alternative path for the payload. Although we can't be 100% sure, this map extension is most likely made for the upcoming PvE Mode.

Since Blizzard has not yet taken this map out of the game, you are still able to explore it. To do this, just create a custom game on King's Row and select the Bounty Hunter preset. This also leaves open the possibility that there are more of these extensions accessible, and this assumption turns out to be right. Only a few hours later, the same person has discovered that there is also an alternative map for Havana.

These maps are nowhere near being finished. In this raw state they might not look like much, but I can assure you, once they added all the game assets and more details, it will look wonderful. Am I defending Blizzard right now? Heck yea I am... I know, I am shocked too.

All I want to say is: Please don't bash Blizzard for the current look of these maps, because you expected something else. Once the maps are finished for good, you can criticize as much as you like. I am sure Blizzard is doing its very best, to offer us the perfect experience in the upcoming PvE Mode for Overwatch 2.

If you are an Overwatch fan, like we are, you should definitely check this out. You won't believe what amazing Easter Eggs we have found in Overwatch 2!
