Are you ready to dive into the upcoming free-to-play anime open-world game Project Mugen? NetEase opened the pre-registration for everyone!

Project Mugen is currently under development, and news about the upcoming game are sadly rather scarce. But things we do know are, that Naked Rain wants to develop a flashy open-world game with various unique characters, exhilarating traversal mechanics like in the Spider-Man franchise and an exciting action combat system.

In order to build up hype around the fanbase and the ones who has yet to be convinced, the devs opened up the pre-registration. To give everyone something to look forward to before the anticipated worldwide release for PC, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, Android and iOS.

Here is how the pre-registration for Project Mugen works:

  1. Head over the official website from Project Mugen;
  2. Click the "Pre-Register" button;
  3. Enter your email address.

That's it.

Once you've done the above three steps, you'll successfully be pre-registered for Project Mugen, and get a notification when the game releases. You'll also get first-hand information from the devs in the coming weeks and months. Stay tuned!

In the latest press release, the devs from Thunder Fire Studio (Naked Rain is the subsidiary of it) Senior Marketing Manager Riten Huang said:

Project Mugen is our love letter to urban fantasies. We wanted to create a world that players could relate to, yet find enough mysteries to keep them coming back. The city is alive, and every player will have their unique journey through it.
