When Will Diofield Chronicle Release?
The Diofield Chronicle is going to be released on September 22, 2022. You can already get the demo version on Steam though starting in August. If you decide to play the demo, then don't worry you won't have to start from scratch in September, all data carrying over into the full-version if you decide to buy the game.
What Platforms Will The Diofield Chronicles be Released on?
Whether you're a console gamer or prefer to play on the PC, you'll be able to play this game on either platform. The Diofield Chronicles will be available on Steam for those of you who prefer to play on the computer, but also be made available on the Nintendo Switch, Playstation 4 and 5, as well as the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.
The Diofield Chronicles Is A RTTB
What does RTTB even mean? RTTB stands for Real Time Tactical Battle and Square Enix states that the Diofield Chronicle will be "a new deeply strategic, real-time battle system".
You will have to make quick decisions to take advantage of your troops throughout the game and while it is a real-time game, much like Starcraft, the focus will also be wholly on the fantasy RPG aspect which Square Enix is known for. There will be a pause function, unlike in other real-time strategy games, during the ordering bit, making the Diofield Chronicles stand out.
Square Enix promises a new and unique combat system with the Diofield Chronicles. The publisher is well-known for these types of games and are some of the best when it comes to this specific genre. So we will have to wait to find out whether the Diofield Chronicles promises to be as unique and interesting as Square Enix has proclaimed, though with what we've seen from the visuals we know it'll be breathtaking.
