Prepare yourselves; Electronic Arts is developing the 5th UFC Game. There isn’t much known about this upcoming installment into the UFC franchise. Despite that, we’ve learned that EA Vancouver has stopped development on Fight Night to create UFC 5.

Tom Henderson has provided a large percentage of the updates we’ve received on UFC 5. Therefore, information regarding this upcoming MMA Simulator has largely been speculative. For instance, inside sources have suggested that the grappling mechanics are being improved. It’s also been stated that additional game modes are being developed for the multiplayer experience. Unfortunately, none of this information is confirmed by Electronic Arts.

The next-generation version of UFC should maintain an assortment of improvements; Otherwise, this franchise could financially suffer as the consumer loses interest. We believe that for EA Vancouver to succeed in their development of UFC 5, these gameplay mechanics and features must be remodeled:

Claims made by Tom Henderson didn’t end there, as this notable leaker mentioned that UFC 5 will release by Q3 2023. His statements haven’t been confirmed by Electronic Arts, meaning that this launch date is speculative and should be taken with a grain of salt.

Game Setting, Story, And Everything We Know About UFC 5

Details regarding the internal development of UFC 5 have been scarce. Despite that, we’ve learned of various fighters and locations that will be included in this upcoming game. For instance, UFC Las Vegas & UFC Fight Island will be developed into the 5th installment of this franchise. This means the Xbox Series X/S and PC should be supported when this game launches in Q3/Q4 2023. However, EA Canada has not provided details regarding the availability of UFC 5. There’s a possibility that this MMA simulator could launch under a timed exclusivity contract with Xbox or PlayStation.

We doubt that UFC 5 will launch under a timed exclusivity contract. Instead, we expect this game will launch on every next-generation platform. This means the PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PC, and Steam Deck.

Is UFC 5 Part Of Xbox Game Pass?

Electronic Arts launched UFC 4 onto the Xbox Game Pass. As such, one would reason that the 5th installment of this franchise would release onto the Xbox Game Pass. However, this game shouldn’t be available for free download until after it’s launched for purchase.

Dedicated players will be required to purchase this game for day-one accessibility.
