About this gallery:

For this list, we’re diving into the cast revealed so far for Marvel’s next big blockbuster. This isn’t a ranking of the best actors (we love them all equally, of course), and let’s be real—there are probably a few surprise stars waiting to drop in. But for now, here’s what we know.

Which actor or superhero would you love to see make a comeback in these movies? Let us know in the comments! | © Presley Ann / IMDB / Dia Dipasupil

Cropped Tom Holland

Tom Holland - Spider-Man

Tom Holland is back as everyone’s favorite web-slinger, and honestly, who else could pull off that perfect mix of wide-eyed wonder and quick-witted quips? With Peter Parker now a seasoned (but still hilariously awkward) hero, Holland will undoubtedly bring the charm, heart, and humor we’ve come to expect. Plus, let’s not forget his uncanny ability to look like a college student even when facing down world-ending threats. In Doomsday, Spidey will need every ounce of that youthful resilience to keep up with a roster of seasoned heroes. Also, can we just say it? Tom’s iconic “Mr. Stark!” moments are likely to hit a whole new emotional level now that Robert Downey Jr. is playing a villain. Mind blown. | © Axelle/Bauer-Griffin

Cropped Joseph Quinn

Joseph Quinn as Johnny Storm / Human Torch

Fresh off his breakout role in Stranger Things, Joseph Quinn is about to set the MCU ablaze—literally—as Johnny Storm, aka the Human Torch. Quinn’s knack for blending charisma and relatability with a touch of rebellious flair makes him a perfect fit for the hot-headed, flame-wielding hero. Picture this: a British accent slipping into Johnny’s fiery one-liners. Whether he’s roasting villains (and his team) or lighting up the big screen with pyrotechnics, Quinn is poised to bring a spark of chaos and fun to the team dynamic. Just remember, folks: “Flame on!” will now have a slightly posher ring to it. | © Alberto E. Rodriguez

Cropped Pedro Pascal

Pedro Pascal as Reed Richards / Mister Fantastic

If there’s one person who can make stretchy limbs look both dignified and badass, it’s Pedro Pascal. With his undeniable gravitas and ability to portray complex characters, Pascal’s Reed Richards promises to be a leader with depth, vulnerability, and a touch of swagger. Sure, he’s the smartest guy in the room, but Pascal’s natural charm will keep Reed from tipping into know-it-all territory. And let’s be honest, his penchant for being a reluctant father figure (cough Grogu cough) feels like a perfect match for a character constantly babysitting the multiverse and his chaotic teammates. | © Robyn Beck

Cropped Vanessa Kirby

Vanessa Kirby as Sue Storm / Invisible Woman

Vanessa Kirby stepping into the role of Sue Storm feels like a match made in superhero heaven. Known for her powerhouse performances in The Crown and Mission: Impossible, Kirby brings elegance, strength, and a no-nonsense attitude to every role. As the Invisible Woman, she’ll balance being the glue that holds the Fantastic Four together with her own kickass powers. Whether she’s throwing up force fields or emotionally grounding her hot-headed brother and aloof husband, Kirby’s Sue will be the epitome of "don’t mess with mom energy." She’s not just disappearing—she’s stealing the spotlight. | © Joe Maher

Cropped Chris Evans

Chris Evans (Role not specified)

Okay, let’s all take a moment to scream internally at the mystery surrounding Chris Evans’ role. Is he reprising Steve Rogers in some multiversal twist? Is he a new character entirely? Either way, seeing Evans back in the MCU is guaranteed to make fans lose their collective minds. If it’s a villain role, he’ll finally get a chance to flex those dramatic chops beyond being a Boy Scout (remember Knives Out?). Whatever the case, expect Twitter to implode when his face shows up in the trailer—Cap or not, Evans’ return is big news. | © Jeff Kravitz

Cropped Robert Downey Jr

Robert Downey Jr. as Victor von Doom

Talk about a role reversal. RDJ trading in Tony Stark’s iron suit for Doctor Doom’s mask is the kind of MCU twist we didn’t see coming but absolutely need. Downey’s wit and sharpness will add a delicious layer to Doom’s egomaniacal scheming, and you just know he’s going to nail the melodrama of a villain who sees himself as the hero. Expect quippy monologues, devastating power moves, and a whole lot of emotional baggage when Doom inevitably faces off against his former mentee, Spider-Man. Yes, we’re already clutching our popcorn. | © Jesse Grant

Cropped Benedict Cumberbatch

Benedict Cumberbatch as Doctor Strange

At this point, Benedict Cumberbatch is Doctor Strange, and his return in Doomsday feels as inevitable as the Eye of Agamotto itself. With his razor-sharp delivery and undeniable screen presence, Cumberbatch will once again be the MCU’s mystical anchor amidst all the chaos. Expect him to clash with Doom (because magic vs. tech is always fun), lead the charge through the multiverse, and roll his eyes at everyone else’s poor life choices. And let’s face it, no one does "exasperated wizard" quite like Benedict. | © RobLatour

Cropped Anthony Mackie

Anthony Mackie as Sam Wilson / Captain America

Anthony Mackie is soaring as the new Captain America, and Doomsday will be his moment to shine as the leader of Earth’s mightiest heroes. Mackie’s Sam Wilson brings heart, humor, and relatability to the shield, making him a Captain America for the people. Plus, his knack for banter guarantees some memorable exchanges with the Fantastic Four and Spider-Man. Expect Sam to step up as a moral compass and tactical genius while throwing that vibranium shield with style. Also, can we get a team-building speech? No one rallies a crew like Mackie. | © Michael Kovac

Cropped Ebon Moss Bachrach

Ebon Moss-Bachrach as Ben Grimm / The Thing

Ebon Moss-Bachrach as The Thing is the kind of inspired casting that makes you say, "Yeah, that’s perfect." Known for his gruff yet lovable performances (The Bear, anyone?), Moss-Bachrach will undoubtedly nail Ben Grimm’s balance of tough-guy bravado and deeply human vulnerability. Whether he’s smashing through walls or delivering heartfelt one-liners, Moss-Bachrach’s Thing will be the emotional cornerstone of the Fantastic Four—and a scene-stealer to boot. Plus, we can’t wait to hear his take on “It’s clobberin’ time!” It’s going to rock—literally. | © Jesse Grant
