The Twitch vs. Kick feud goes in the next round.
After the controversy surrounding Twitch’s 70/30 revenue split, Kick’s CEO has now accused StableRonaldo of viewbotting and the streamer has fired back.
Ronaldo Claps Back At Ed Craven Over Viewbotting Allegations
Watching a clip of Twitch streamer StableRonaldo criticizing Twitch’s revenue structure amid the recent 70/30 split controversy, Kick CEO Ed Craven labeled him a “crazy” viewbotter. When the clip reached the streamer, he initially took the accusation almost as a compliment:
“Honestly, I think being called a botter is a compliment. Bro, I have to be doing so good that you have to call me that and accuse me of that. Honestly, I want to say thank you.”
However, beyond the jokes, he pushed back at the CEO:
“I think it is extremely crazy and unprofessional, just being honest with you. A CEO of a platform, right, that wants to succeed is going on a podcast saying this. Just want to point out that’s why your platform is never going to be anything. It’s just the truth.”
He then addressed Craven directly:
“If I’m a big botter, Eddie, why did you and your team at Kick offer me millions and millions and millions of dollars?”
He questioned why Kick would pursue a deal with someone they allegedly believed was viewbotting. To reinforce his point, StableRonaldo revealed his 2026 earnings, showing revenue of more than $350,000. According to him, that would mean he would also have to manipulate his income to reach figures like that:
“Wouldn’t I viewbot my revenue too, every single day? Wouldn’t I cheat the system? Ask streamers who you think have view bots to show their revenue.”
In recent months, viewbotting has repeatedly been a topic surrounding top streamers. For example, TheBurntPeanut has also faced similar accusations. So the allegations themselves are nothing new, but hearing them directly from Kick’s CEO certainly is. At the very least, one thing seems clear: StableRonaldo is unlikely to be switching to Kick anytime soon.
