Top 10 Most Iconic Dota 2 Organizations

1-10

The Most Beloved Teams of the Decade!

Tasho Tashev
Dota 2 -
Navi Logo
NA'VI: Natus Vincere were the first Dota 2 team to gain worldwide fame after winning The International in 2011. They remained a powerhouse in the CIS region for the years to come, but with most of the original roster either retiring or forming a team of their own, the org started having issues. The team is still a recognized name in the Dota 2 scene, and they're trying to return to their glory days. Na'Vi recently signed the roster of FlyToMoon in an attempt to get some fresh blood and good results. (Image credit: Natus Vincere)
Virtus pro dota 2
VIRTUS.PRO: The Russian bears haven't one The International yet, but they've been a massive factor in the Dota 2 scene, especially in the last few years. The organization has won multiple major events, defeating the best the world had to offer, but much like Na'Vi are now trying to find their strength back. The entire Dota 2 roster was benched last week, and we might the secondary team (VP.Prodigy) take the mantle. (Image credit: Virtus.pro)
Fnatic logo
FNATIC: Fnatic are famous not only in Dota 2 but in many other esports titles. The team has been a regional powerhouse in SEA for as long as we can remember. Success at The International is yet to come for the orange team as their best placement was fourth in 2016. The team made some profound changes recently. We're curious if they'll remain the number one team in SEA. (Image credit: Fnatic)
Team liquid
TEAM LIQUID: Liquid is perhaps one of the most famous teams worldwide and they also have great success in Dota 2. The organization won The International in 2017 and the successful roster parted ways with the team by making their own Team Nigma. In the meantime, Liquid got a brand-new roster from 2018 onward. The team is among the best in Europe and they're still aiming for the top. (Image credit: Team Liquid)
Evil geniuses
EVIL GENIUSES: The most famous team in North America is, without a doubt, Evil Geniuses. They won The International in 2015, but no players from that roster remained in the org. EG have some of the best players in their lineup but are currently struggling to make it big. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, they've skipped many events in NA and were last seen competing in the OMEGA League Immortal Divison Europe. (Image credit: Evil Geniuses)
Alliance logo
ALLIANCE: The Swedish organization has given a lot to the Dota 2 scene. Alliance defeated Na'Vi in the grand finals of The International 2013 and claimed the title that many dream of. As many of the members went inactive or left, the team was struggling. All of that changed last year with a brand-new roster that delivered some great results, and even Gustav "s4" Magnusson returned to play for his old team. Alliance also gave us Henrik "AdmiralBulldog" Ahnberg. (Image credit: Alliance)
Psg lgd
PSG.LGD: Formerly known as LGD Gaming, the Chinese organization entered a partnership with the French Paris Saint Germain. Even before that, the team was performing really well in the Dota 2 scene always just a step away from taking the grand title. To this day LGD are one of the top teams in China and even with the recent player changes we doubt that will change. (Image credit: PSG.LGD)
Wings gaming
WINGS GAMING: The Chinese Wings Gaming were a phenomenon in 2016, the same year they won The International. Their run through the biggest Dota 2 event was something to behold as the team's playstyle and efficiency weren't something many of us expected. After making it big, the organization disbanded in the following year and many of the players were signed by other big organizations. (Image credit: Wings Gaming)
Team secret
TEAM SECRET: Team Secret was created by one of the former Na'Vi members, Clement "Puppey" Ivanov. The organization came to life in 2014 and has been a serious competitor in the scene ever since. They haven't won The International yet, but right now they're unstoppable after claiming eight titles in a row in various events. (Image credit: Team Secret)
Og
OG: The team was initially known as monkey business, founded by Johan "n0tail" Sundstein. In 2015 the team was renamed to OG and delivered some amazing results in its initial years by winning multiple majors. OG's biggest achievement came in 2018 and 2019 when they managed to win The International two years in a row, an achievement nobody else can brag with. (Image credit: OG)
