Vanguard Season 4 Content
New Vanguard Map
With Season 4 we will of course get new maps again. USS Texas 1945 will be available at launch with Desolation coming later in the season:
USS Texas 1945 | USS Texas 1945 challenges Operators to fight it out on an offshore battleship designed for tense long-range engagements on starboard and port and plenty of close-quarters action amidst its many confined interior locations. This map is a reimagining of the U.S.S. Texas map from Call of Duty: WWII, this is a a medium-sized map that's moved from the white Cliffs of Dover to the waters around Caldera. | At Launch |
Desolation | Deploy to a Pacific listening post in this small-to-medium sized map set in a dense village littered with destruction. Large mountains and a vast landscape engulf the environment as you battle around the central building and along its creekside fortifications. | In-Season |

New Vanguard Mode
Blueprint Gun Game is coming to Vanguard in Season 4. Gun Game is basically a 2vs2 round-based deathmatch, although for weapons you don't use loadouts, you use random premium blueprints each round. This was one of the best modes to come to CoD in recent history, so we're sure it will be popular.
New Vanguard Weapons
In total, we'll get access to four brand-new weapons in Season 4. You can find more details below. At the beginning of the new season, there will be two new weapons at level 15 and 31 of the Battle Pass. The two other weapons will follow in the course of the season or in the mid-season update:
Weapon | Description | Release |
Marco 5 (SMG) | A high mobility submachine gun, accurate from the hip with excellent close-range stopping power. | At Launch |
UGM-8 (LMG) | High fire rate, mobile LMG that excels at creating suppressing fire and pushing enemy positions. | At Launch |
Push-Dagger (Melee) | This is a stealth-based melee weapon. | Mid-Season |
Vargo-S (Assault Rifle) | Basically the Vargo-52... | In-Season |
New Vanguard Operators
As in every season, there will be a new operator squad in Season 4 consisting of three operators. The new squad is called the Mercenaries of Fortune and consists of the following operators:
Operator | Favorite Weapon | Release |
Carver Butcher | Marco 5 | At Launch |
Callum Hendry | UGM-8 | At Season |
Ikenna Olowe | Vargo-S | Mid-Season |
That's all the information we have so far about the new season. What are you looking forward to most?
