The long awaited sequel to Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, will be released in about two months. The game now also got its official ESRB rating, which indicates that Jedi: Survivor will take a similar direction like Fallen Order.
We're all itching for more Star Wars, and with Star Wars Jedi: Survivor from Respawn Entertainment we're finally getting a sequel to 2019's Jedi: Fallen Order this year. The first game tells the story of Cal Kestis, gained very positive reviews overall and some fans consider it being an unofficial sequel of the Jedi Knight series, since playing a Jedi that (re-)discovers the powers of the force reminds many players of the days of Jedi Outcast and Jedi Academy.
Star Wars Jedi: Survivor Getting ESRB Rating
Two months before the release, the Entertainment Software Rating Board (ESRB) has announced their rating results. Star Wars Jedi: Survivor got a "T" for Teen rating, which is the same rating that also Fallen Order got.
The statement sounds quite similar to what we experienced in Fallen Order, telling us that players "use lightsabers to slash and break apart alien creatures, droids, and humanoid enemies", as well as a fast-paced combat, "with cries of pain, impact sounds, and large explosions".
The statement also adds that the words "ass" and "bastard" will be mentioned in the game, which indicates some harsh dialogue, similar to what we experienced in the first game.
We are really curious to see if Jedi: Survivor can impress us like Jedi: Fallen Order did.
