Eine neue Woche bedeutet ein neues Update für Warzone. Was wird generfed und was wird gebuffed? Werden Spieler panisch ihre Loadouts ändern oder ist die Meta für eine weitere Woche sicher? Finden wir es heraus in den aktuellen Patch Notes.

Warzone verändert sich konstant. Das Spiel ist voll mit Bugs, die behoben werden müssen, Mikrotransaktionen, die hinzugefügt werden müssen, neue Modi, die eingeführt werden müssen, und Spielerfeedback, das ignoriert werden muss. Abgesehen von Warzones wöchentlichem Playlist-Update kommen diese Änderungen in relativ regelmäßigen Abständen, mit größeren Einbrüchen, wenn Raven Software neue Season- und Mid-Season-Updates einführt.

Events

Kong und Godzilla sind auf Caldera angekommen. Vom 11. bis zum 25. Mai bietet dieses Event den Spielern die einmalige Gelegenheit, brandneue Belohnungen zu verdienen und gleichzeitig Battle Royale in Anwesenheit der beiden legendären Monster zu erleben.

Das Event enthält 8 primäre Herausforderungen:

  • Challenge: Spiele Operation Monarch für 6 Stunden
    • Belohnung: Epic “Ancestral Skull” Waffenanhänger
  • Challenge: Nutze einen Kong oder Godzilla Killstreak 1x

Modi: Operation Monarch

Es handelt sich um ein Spiel mit 60 Spielern und dem Regelwerk von Resurgence. Ein kleinerer Abschnitt von Caldera wird als erster sicherer Bereich markiert, und abgesehen von einer gewaltigen Wendung sind die Regeln einfach: Sei das letzte Team, das noch steht.

  • Environmental Hazard: Titans
    • Kong und Godzilla patrouillieren während des Spiels in Caldera und greifen Bedrohungen an, wobei sie gelegentlich in einen wilden Zustand geraten.
  • Public Event: Titan Frenzy
    • Kong und Godzilla können wütend werden und rücksichtslos angreifen - man spricht dann von einem Titan Frenzy. Die Operator haben zwei Möglichkeiten: (1) taktisch vor diesen gefährlichen Kreaturen weglaufen oder (2) versuchen, sie zu unterdrücken, indem sie ihnen direkten Schaden zufügen
    • Der Trupp, der den meisten Schaden an einem der beiden Titanen verursacht, erhält automatisch ein S.C.R.E.A.M.-Gerät. Die Zweitplatzierten erhalten weiterhin Monarch-Intel die auf ihre spezielle Informationsanzeige angerechnet werden, deren letzte Belohnung ein S.C.R.E.A.M.-Gerät ist.
  • Resource: Monarch Intel
    • Die Spieler finden Monarch-Intel über Versorgungskisten, spezielle Beute und gefallene Feinde. Damit können sie eine spezielle Anzeige aufladen, die Gegenstände wie Killstreaks und Ausrüstungsdrops freischaltet, sowie eine einzigartige und mächtige Titan-Killstreak-Belohnung, wenn sie vollständig gefüllt ist.
  • Killstreak: S.C.R.E.A.M. Device
    • Titan Sonic Communication Radar and Echolocation Array Module. Das S.C.R.E.A.M.-Gerät ist ein Killstreak, der seinem Benutzer eine von zwei Kräften der Titanen verleiht: einen Hitzestrahl von Godzilla oder einen Bodenstoß von Kong. Sobald die Art des Angriffs gewählt ist, kann der Operator ihn auf einen beliebigen Ort auf Caldera richten.

Warzone Update, 4. Mai

Seit seiner Rückkehr in die Warzone ist klar geworden, dass der gepanzerte Lastwagen ein großer Gewinn für jedes Team ist. Waffen

Waffen Änderungen

Vanguard-Waffen haben seit ihrem Einzug in die Warzone damit zu kämpfen, mit anderen Waffen gleichzuziehen. Dieses Update legt den Grundstein, um dies zu beheben. Seit der Umstellung auf Caldera haben sich die Schussdistanzen nur vergrößert. Mehr Scharmützel finden innerhalb der Mindestschadensreichweite statt. Dies hat zur Folge, dass Waffen mit geringer maximaler Schadensreichweite oder geringem Mindestschaden weitgehend unbrauchbar geworden sind. Leider war dies bei Vorhutwaffen oft der Fall. Im Folgenden findet ihr eine Vielzahl von Änderungen, die darauf abzielen, den oberen Rängen der Kriegszonenwaffen etwas mehr Konkurrenz zu verschaffen.

  • High Value Loot Zones (In-Season)
    • These zones are represented on the Tac Map by a very appropriate “$” sign and will provide the best looting opportunities. These zones will be complimented by Rebirth Supply Boxes that will provide recurring loot opportunities.

  • Gas Mask
    • Will no longer interrupt a falling Player, thus allowing them to still be able to pull their parachute when falling to preserve their life.
    • Won’t play animation when the Player is ADS and affected by the gas from Nebula V Rounds
  • “Most Wanted”
    • Contract Timer reduction via the following…
      • Eliminating opponents reduces the timer by 20 seconds
      • Opening Supply Boxes reduces the timer by 5 seconds
      • We want this to be a Contract that both promotes and rewards aggressive play.
    • Players can no longer use the Tac Map to ping an enemy Most Wanted target directly.
      • We felt this method was unfairly punishing and provided too great a degree of accuracy that was almost impossible to be countered by the target.
    • The refresh rate of the Most Wanted target on the Tac Map has been increased, to counterbalance the removal of the above ping.
      • This brings balance and still allows tracking of the approximate location of the target.
  • “Bounty” Contract
    • Speed increase to Tac Map refresh rate
      • This is especially noticeable when a target is in a vehicle to better inform Players that a vehicle chase may be required.
  • Deployable Buy Stations
    • When a Player pings a Deployable Buy Station, there will now be dedicated audio/narration to better inform squad mates of the Players’ intentions.
  • Redeploy Positioning Improvements
    • Players who redeploy via Gulag victory or are bought back will now spawn in close proximity to their squad or Loadout.

Rebirth Island Adjustment

  • Spawn Protection Improvements
    • Removed the damage reduction scaling system that was based on ground distance
    • System is disabled if a Player is near the ground or an opponent
    • Players who have the shield icon will only take a flat 25% of the damage received
    • Spawn protection will no longer reduce gas circle damag
  • Weapon Trade Station Adjustments
    • Reduced Specialist Token drop rate
      • We’ve enjoyed the engagement Players have been having with the Weapon Trade Station and the Specialist Token reward, but felt it was slightly on the high side so have made a reduction.
    • The station will now look for empty space to drop your rewards
      • We found it a bit annoying to pick up loot after you traded your weapon so we’ve polished this moment. The system will now always look for an empty space when dropping your rewards

  • Footstep Audio Improvements
    • We are looking to bring in additional audio improvements to footsteps during the season as a priority.
  • Slide Camera Lock Improvement
    • We have heard from our community that the camera lock that can occasionally happen while sliding down a vertical descent can be frustrating and lead to a negative outcome in a combat encounter. We are pleased to announce that this will be addressed soon.

    • No longer require confirmation when making a purchase

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed an issue causing incorrect Ping positioning when used on the Tac Map near Redeploy Balloons.
  • Fixed an issue that caused Players to get stuck in AA turrets if they interacted with it at the same time it was destroyed.
  • Fixed an issue that prevented carriable gasoline from being picked up while Dead Silence is active.
  • Fixed an issue that allowed Players to glitch-carry carriable gasoline up ladders.

Warzone Update vom 20. April

Fix For Battle Pass XP Bug

  • Affected Players will be retroactively awarded XP for prior matches played.
    • In order to receive this bonus, Players must log in to Warzone before the end of Chapter Three Season Two on April 27th at 10 AM PT.
    • The XP may have started appearing for some Players last night, April 19th (PT).
  • In addition, all Players who logged in during Season Two will receive two 1-hour Double Battle Pass XP Tokens. These Tokens will be usable through the current and future Seasons.


Was ist die aktuelle Warzone Meta?

Natürlich wird die Meta sich mit den ganzen Vanguard Waffen schon bald grundlegend ändern, bis dahin müssen wir uns aber noch auf die alte Meta verlassen. Die derzeitige Warzone Meta besteht vor allem aus der Swiss K31 oder Kar98k und der AK-47 (BOCW) als Sniper Support. Alternativ könnte man auch das MG82 und die OTs 9 spielen.

Aktuelle Warzone Sturmgewehr Meta: STG44 (VG)

Das STG44 ist die M4 von Vanguard. Es ist sehr einfach zu spielen, hat nicht zu viel Rückstoß, eine ordentliche Reichweite, eine ordentliche TTK und ist im Grunde ein großartiger Allrounder. Außerdem ist sie ab Stufe 1 verfügbar, also ein guter Ausgleich unter den Spielern, etwas, das sich jeder schnappen und schnell leveln kann. Bei diesem Setup konzentrieren wir uns auf eine Waffe für große Entfernungen, aber das STG eignet sich auch hervorragend als Sniper-Support – hier ist unser komplettes STG44 Warzone Loadout.

Aktuelle Warzone MP Meta: OTs 9

Obwohl die OTs 9 nicht in den Mainstream der Warzone Meta passt, ist sie derzeit die vermutlich beste MP. In Kombination mit dem MG82 wird die OTs 9 so richtig stark – wenn sie von kompetenten Spielern eingesetzt wird. Behaltet aber im Hinterkopf, dass es sich hierbei um ein Profi-Loadout handelt, das nur von Spielern verwendet werden sollte, die wirklich wissen, was sie tun! Die OTs 9 wird am besten mit dem folgenden Setup verwendet.

Aktuelle Warzone Sniper Meta: Swiss K31

Es besteht kein Zweifel daran, dass die Swiss K31 die aktuelle Warzone Sniper Meta ist. Ja, wir haben uns schon in einem extra Artikel gefragt, ob sie wirklich besser ist als die Kar98k, aber ja, wir empfehlen die Swiss als Primärwaffe zu nutzen und mit einer AK-47 (BOCW) zu kombinieren. Wir empfehlen den SWAT 5mw Laser, den 24,9" Combat Recon Lauf, den GRU Suppressor, den Bruiser Grip und den Airborne Elastic Wrap Griff für das ultimative Setup.
