More and more streamers are taking to YouTube. Of course, Twitch is still the go-to platform for live streams, but the viewership on YouTube is also on the rise. Reason enough for us to take a closer look at the most successful YouTube streamers in 2022.
The Most Successful YouTuber Streamers In 2022
Streaming analytics website Stream Hatchet announced its 2022 ranking for the most popular gaming streamers on YouTube. The massively popular and often controversial live streamerIShowSpeed took the top spot, with about 38.5 million hours watched in 2022. This puts him well ahead of the 2nd-place finisher in the ranking. It is followed by the Japanese YouTuber Kuzuha with 27.4 million hours watched. The podium is completed by the American YouTuber TimTheTatman.

The top 10 is then completed by streamers like DrDisRespect and the YouTuber and esports commentator Ludwig. While the Spanish Youtuber DjMaRiiO took tenth place with 20.4 million hours.
For comparison, the 38.5 million hours watched of IShowSpeed are just enough for the 10th place on Twitch.
