The 2020 DC FanDome Event saw Rocksteady Studios announce Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, and there was an immediate excitement in the air. Fans became excited about the concept of playing Deadshot, Captain Boomerang, King Shark, or Deadshot. They became more excited upon learning that we would fight characters like Wonder Woman and The Flash.

Did we forget to mention that Superman is an enemy in the upcoming Suicide Squad game? Oops, that’s our bad. But don’t get too excited because Rocksteady Studios were delayed in development during the Covid-19 Era. It’s now estimated that the game will arrive sometime in 2023. However, that release window could be subjected to change.

You’re probably wondering the difference between Gotham Knights and the Suicide Squad. Surprisingly, there are quite a few. For instance, these two games aren’t interconnected, as they occur in different multiverses throughout the DCEU.

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is an official follow-up to the Arkham Knight franchise. This time around, Batman has died. Amanda Waller calls upon the Suicide Squad when learning that Earth’s mightiest heroes have been brainwashed into killing innocent civilians. It will be the job of Harley Quinn and Deadshot to stop these mind-controlled superheroes with the assistance of King Shark & Captain Boomerang.

We’ll be capable of playing Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League with our friends, as Rocksteady Studios has confirmed they are introducing online co-op into their upcoming game. This could revolutionize how everyone experiences the Arkham Knight franchise that Rocksteady has developed over 10+ Years. Otherwise, what else can be expected from this game? Particularly with the PC version of Suicide Squad.

When Is Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League Coming To PC?

There hasn’t been an announcement regarding the release date for Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League. Instead, we’ve received a release window suggesting that this upcoming game will launch in 2023.

Inside sources have argued that the Suicide Squad will launch between October 1st and December 31st, 2023. This would position Rocksteady to earn more profit as the holiday season would loom overhead. But there hasn’t been any word from Rocksteady to suggest this timeframe is accurate.

Rocksteady Studios hasn’t identified which PC features will be incorporated into Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League. However, descriptions of this upcoming game have provided us with some information. It’s promised that Metropolis will be an open-world dynamic environment, and that’s suggestive of RTX Lighting. As you’ll see below, these features should be available with the upcoming Suicide Squad game.

  • 120 Frames-Per-Second
  • Ray-Tracing Lighting
  • Steam Cloud Saves
  • Xbox Cloud Saves

Considering that Rocksteady Studios has confirmed that the Suicide Squad is arriving for next-generation consoles and GPUs/CPUs, it’s almost ensured that Xbox Cloud Saves will be supported. We’re confident that support will also extend to Steam Cloud Saves, which would benefit anyone owning a Steam Deck. But Rocksteady hasn’t provided an official account of PC features, so nothing is fully guaranteed.

Unfortunately, we cannot say for sure that the Suicide Squad is coming to the Steam Deck. This next-generation game will likely overclock the Steam Deck’s GPU and CPU. However, there’s an option to stream games through the Steam Deck.

This option allows anyone to play Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League without any concerns of overheating/overclocking the Steam Deck. But understand that you’ll need a powerful internet connection for the Suicide Squad to stream correctly.

Game Trailer

This is quite the exciting trailer that introduces everyone to Rocksteady Studio’s version of the Suicide Squad. We meet King Shark, Captain Boomerang, Harley Quinn, and Deadshot before they’re told they must kill the Justice League. Talk about an unrealistic task from Amanda Wallet!

We’re even introduced to some members of the Justice League, like The Flash and Superman. But they seem a bit different this time around, hmm?
