LoL Patch 12.12 All Buffs and Nerfs

Bel'Veth gets released, is too strong and immediately gets nerfed again. A tale as old as time. What else changes?

Patch 12.12 is a very small patch compared to 12.10 and 12.11. It seems as if Riot is very happy with all the changes implemented and only needs to change a few small things in 12.12. And as you can see from the picture, Zeri is at it again...

Champion Buffs in 12.12

Some of these champions make me a little nervous. Do we really want a Heimerdinger meta again? But compared to the previous patches, this list is definitely much shorter. So who gets a buff in 12.12?

And those are all the buffs we will be getting in 12.12. Ivern got some huge buffs and will have a much better early game, but I don't know if that will be enough because he just isn't a good fighter. We should also start to see some more Yorick's with those buffs, but I also don't think that he will become meta, he just isn't a good team fighter and in 1v1s, he still can be out dueled. But, it's all speculation, who knows, maybe both of them will start taking over the top lane and jungle.


Champion Nerfs in 12.12

Would you look at that. Zeri gets a few buffs and is immediately nerfed twice in a row. Zeri has been involved in 8 out of the last 11 patches. Riot just can't balance this champion. She's either too strong or completely useless. Who else will get a nerf?

Somewhat surprising that Bel'Veth gets a nerf despite her win rate being so poor. The other champions are all self-explanatory. Fiora, Janna, Singed (mid lane), and Viego are the strongest champions in their lane, so nerfs are in order here. For all the people that know maths, Fioras nerf is actually insane, and we will see a new best top laner in 12.12. Singed buffs don't seem nearly big enough to get rid of him in the mid lane. Oh, the misery.

Champion Adjustments

Riot wants to make Shaco and Katarina more feast or famine Champions, which means you snowball or int like crazy. Seems like, they will be adjusting the Ratios on the champion, so you're forced to go full damage items, if you want them to be effective. So, What did they adjust?

The fact that Soraka R doesn't remove Grievous Wounds anymore, is an insane nerf and will probably kill her in the support role. Usually, you want to start with an AD item on Kat, but after these changes, you just want to stack as much AP as possible. As for Shaco, I'm not sure they want him to go full AD or full AP, as they increased both ratios. Maybe a hybrid build is going to be the new Shaco meta?
